Generally, some screen frames are still in good condition, therefore do not need to be replaced, but the screen mesh is in bad condition. They may have tears, holes or are peeling.

In brief, many screens are fabricated by the manufacturer of the window companies and are made with plastic corners. We use heavy duty aluminum inserted corner on a miter cut frame. Therefore, these plastic parts will become very week by the sun beating on them season after season and will eventually start cracking.

For the most part, It is hard to know sometimes which ones are already cracked or not, in this case I will point them out. Nevertheless, If you are on a tight budget, consider looking for screen frames that don’t have any dents, cracks are bent or have cracked plastic corners, in this case, you can change the screen mesh, in short rescreen them.

Our Customer and friend called to have the front screen doors and window screens replaced. We installed Model Tahoe 3500 in white powder coated and oven baked, heavy duty extruded aluminum hinged screen doors.

It has a heavy duty expanded small pattern metal grill built-in on the bottom half to protect the fiberglass screen mesh from pets and children. Also has a diamond embossed kick-plate, extruded push bars and pneumatic closer and latch. It is a beautiful door and it comes in 6 different powder coated colors
